While in college, Mike began training for baseball with a vinyasa based style of yoga, combining movement with breath work. Mike has been practicing regularly ever since (over 15 years) and has recently completed his 200 hr yoga teacher training certification at Down Under School of Yoga in Newton. Mike’s mission is to bring sport specific yoga training to high school basketball and baseball players in the metrowest Boston area, promoting higher levels of athletic achievement and mental toughness. Aside from instructing, Mike currently works as a teacher’s aide in the Newton public school system.
